FNwF : November 2022

I shared my new (dining) table runner yesterday and it got me thinking... I've made lots of coasters for our hot drinks in the past, but I don't have any Christmas themed ones. I needed to remedy that situation.

Being the first Friday of the month, it was FNwF with Gone Stitchin'. I took the opportunity to make some coasters for the season.

I still had some fabric from the same range as the runner, on my cutting table so decided to use that.

I quilted a piece of the fabric with some cotton batting and then cut circles from the quilted panel as well as the backing fabric.

The addition of a little bit of ric-rac makes everything extra festive, don't you think?

Now I'd better hurry and get myself ready for work. After a lovely week at home, it's going to be a busy day and I'll probably be complaining to anyone who'll listen about my sore feet later.

Check in with Gone Stitchin' to see what everyone else got up to last night.

 Happy Saturday friends :)

How do you attach the ric rac so it lays flat? Mine always curves upward.
    Your coasters look great.
