Green Geese

Making flying geese blocks has never been something I particularly enjoyed doing. I'm not really sure why, to be honest.

I decided to get out some green scraps (mainly because there were some decent size pieces rolled up in there) and play around with the Crossover II die cutting machine along with some triangular dies. I had seen one of the other Crafters Edge designers has used the triangle dies to create geese blocks, so thought I should have a go myself.

Gosh they were easy, with no math involved. NO MATH!

I made a whole bunch of geese blocks and sewed them into groups yesterday, I had an idea of what I was going to use them for. I shared a photo on Instagram and had a few people mention they were reminded of Christmas trees.

I love how different people see things differently. Christmas trees had not even crossed my mind!
