Pretty in Pink Cushion

I have some exciting news to share today. My Pretty in Pink cushion is featured in the latest August/September issue of Homespun Magazine. I do love to see how the photographers and magazine people style my projects. It's always a nice surprise.

This time, the scrappy multi-pinkness of my cushion is contrasting nicely with the white furniture on which it's staged.

The editor had seen my scrappy quarter log cabin blocks on Instagram and asked whether I'd be interested in creating a little project for the magazine with them. Well, you know me and my love of making cushions, so that's what I decided.

I ended up making two Pretty in Pink cushions in different sizes. I love how they look together and especially love the quilting on them. I love running my fingers over that lovely quilty texture.

You can find my 'Pretty in Pink' project along with a number of other gorgeous quilt, embroidery, bag, and yarn projects in the August/September issue (No. 203) of Homespun Magazine. Available in newsagents or digitally online.
