Yes, I am corny and have shared my latest finish on social media, this Star Wars cushion, using the line “May the Fourth be with You!”
I’m working on a larger project with this (glow in the dark) Star Wars fabric for my son. It’s a large quilt. I wanted to make it large enough that he could use on his big bed… when we actually get around to buying the bed.
I used scraps from the larger quilt project, to create this cushion along with 2 layers of batting on both the top and the back. It was put together using the “quilt as you go method”. QAYG is such fun and best of all, very, very fast.
Have you tried QAYG?
If not, would like you like create a project like this one, with me?
Please leave me a comment if you’d like a tutorial on how I create this style of scrappy cushion. It really is a lot of fun, and a fantastic way to use up your scrap fabrics.
Yes please. I have never tried QAYG. A tutorial would be brilliant. And I love your Star Wars cuchion.
