What a lovely photo of the two of them, sitting there concentrating hard on their stitching. I'm looking forward to seeing their finished work. I hope they enjoy themselves (and you too).
You are going to check out the shops aren't you, Kate will be there with a Tupperware car on Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 1pm outside Myer apparently. Love the look of concentration on their faces, did they have fun, will they be back for more, would love to see their finished projects
Neither insanity or bravery - Love. I learnt my love of embroidery from my mother while I was still in primary school & though it has ebbed and flowed over the years it is strong in me now and those memories are precious gifts my mother gave me as a child.
Mmmmm... I can't wait until my little girl is 5. Then I might be able to trust her with a needle and thread! lol It's pure love, no matter how you look at it! :) I'll bet they're so proud of themselves!
I like it! I am loving that 1 of my 4 grand daughters has taken up my love of sewing, she has even came up with a little quilt design she drew out & picked out some great coordinating fabrics from my scraps! She just might pass her Gammy up before it's said & done :)
