Maggi Meal Creations {GIVEAWAY}

Sponsored by Nuffnang

With a husband who works away from home - I regularly prepare meals just for my kids and I. It sounds easy and some days I admit that it is easy to cook for the 3 of us – but trust me, sometimes it can be very trying too.

Sam loves food. He likes everything I make. Amelia is a fussy eater. She was fussy when she was a baby, and is still super fussy now. Getting her to eat her dinner involves a lot of negotiation.

We were sent some Maggi products to trial at home. I wondered if I should hold onto the packs and use them while hubby got back home, but decided it was going to be fun to get the kids involved in preparing our meals.

We received Maggi So Crispy and Maggi Just One Pan - Honey Soy Chicken Stir Fry.

After some debate, we decided to try the Maggi So Crispy packet first.

We bought a double chicken breast at the local grocer and cut the chicken breast in half. We only used one half and kept the other half for the next nights meal… but more on that later.
Preparing the Maggi So Crispy chicken was EASY!

Maggi So Crispy

My helpers were very err.. umm.. helpful. One wearing pyjamas and the other in her Princess dress.

The result was a very yummy chicken schnitzel, with a crispy coating on the outside, tender chicken on the inside and baked in the oven WITHOUT oil.

When preparing, I cut our chicken pieces smaller than recommended, because I told the kids we were making chicken nuggets.

Both agreed that the Maggi So Crispy chicken, was much yummier than regular chicken nuggets. Maggi So Crispy contains no added MSG and no artificial colours or flavours – AND the kids love it. SCORE!

MAGGI So Crispy comes in 3 great new flavours: Classic Chicken Schnitzel, Lemon & Herb Chicken Schnitzel and Parsley & Lemon Fish Pieces

The next evening, it was time to try out the Maggi Just One Pan - Honey Soy Chicken Stir Fry pack.

I worried that this one would be a harder sell.

We did the same thing again and both kids helped prepare dinner.

Maggi Honey Soy

I needn’t have worried. The Maggi One Pan Honey Soy Chicken Stir Fry was an even bigger success than the crispy chicken!

Maggi Honey Soy 2
MAGGI Just ONE PAN is a NEW range of unique liquid recipe bases which offer fuss free cooking and minimal cleaning up. With no added MSG and no artificial colours or flavours MAGGI Just ONE PAN un-complicates good food.

7 great new flavours include: Beef Stroganoff, Honey Mustard Chicken, Honey Soy Chicken Stir Fry, Chinese Beef Stir Fry, Satay Chicken Rice, Spaghetti Bolognaise and Garlic Parsley Chicken Rice
