Handmade Christmas: Quilted Pot Holders

A lady I know (who I've made cushions for in the past) bought some cute Aussie animal Christmas fabric and asked if I could use it to make a gift for her friend.  It was only a 1/2 meter so I put my thinking cap on as to what I should make.

I know her friend (as an acquaintance), but I do know that she likes cooking and baking.  Something for the kitchen would be great and so when I had a little look on Pinterest, I found a really great tutorial & pattern for quilted pocket pot holders (link below).

To make these pot holders, I used a couple of Fat Quarters - the Jocelyn Proust print fabric and some coordinating solid dark blue, 2 layers of cotton batting and some pre-made bias binding.
