FNSI - March 2022

I joined ‘Friday Night Sew In’ but hadn’t gotten around to sharing what I’d gotten up to yet. It’s been a busy weekend of driving kids back and forth and back and forth.

Honestly, I’m going to start charging petrol money soon - especially now that our fuel prices are over $2.15 per litre. Crazy times!

Anyways, enough whinging and more sewing. I spent most of the day Friday sewing up a secret squirrel project… which I won’t share just yet as it’s winging it’s way to it’s new home.

After dinner was done, I got my tin of hexies out and put together some more scrappy hexie flowers. I appliqué these to black and white background fabrics.

I seem to have a huge pile of them now and really should lay them all out and make a plan.

I can’t keep making scrappy hexies appliqués on black & white backgrounds forever, can I?

PS I’m blogging on my phone, so hopefully it works out okay.

  6. love your hexies - wow your gas is a bit more expensive there - I'm still under $4 a gallon which would be about 4 litre's -- I am not complaining - as we do not have the bombing and fighting here so paying more for gas I will keep my mouth shut on it.

  8. I love your hexies! I got gas last week, 3/4 of a tank and it was $75, at $5.49 a gallon. I think it has gone up now.

  12. lovely hexies, yes we are popping out much less at the moment with the fuel and just planning any trip a bit better. Gone up hugely and we don't have family to drop off anywhere.
