Seven for Sunday : 25 March 2018

Happy Sunday my friends. Here are 7 things which I have recently discovered, recently used, or just really like. Perhaps you'll find something that you might like here too.

This beautiful squishy yarn pack. It's Stylecraft Special DK which I bought at wool warehouse. It's the Hydrangea pack, collated by Attic 24.

Soup weather! How good is soup weather?!?!?1 It's getting cooler around these parts, so I've been enjoying making soups again. I made a really yummy Leek & Potato soup which the kids loved. This is the recipe I used - though I left out the evaporated milk.

Thrifty Succulents on Instagram. I didn't know I needed succulents until I started seeing Mel's pictures appear in my feed. Mel is a fellow Aussie and has inspired me to add some succulents to my garden. Before long, I'll be propagating my own succulents!

This beautiful crochet Magnolia Mandala - I might just make my own with the free pattern provided by Crochet Millan.

This new Bon Bon Fun Size quilt kit by Tales of Cloth. Here's another project which I need to add to my "must-make" list. The kit is only $29 and offers the opportunity for many hours of enjoyment.

This Mini Zipper Pouch by Crazy Little Projects. I have a little coin purse which is looking really old and worn, so I have one of these on my 'to do' list this week.

I'm enjoying reading 'Home Fire' by Kamila Shamsie. It's my bed time reading, but may possibly be a little bit heavy for that time of night. Here's a great review of 'Home Fire' by Linda Funnell for the Sydney Morning Herald.

Hopefully I've introduced you to something new or different this week. Have you found something new that you're just absolutely loving?
