Holly Bird Designs is the delightful new pattern set by Jenny of Elefantz Designs. If you follow Jenny’s blog or her Facebook page, you will undoubtedly be in awe of her talent and generosity. Jenny is one of Australia’s most popular stitchery designers and a regular contributor in Australian publications.

Holly Bird Designs is Jenny’s latest offering and is a set of 6 patterns, all ready to stitch and applique, just in time for Christmas. The little birdies in the patterns are super sweet and so very festive. Oh, I do love Christmas stitching. Don’t you?

The six projects have complete step by step instructions and colour photos with full-size pattern templates. They’re perfectly suited to the newbie stitcher's or to the more advance embroiderers looking for something fun to create for their home this Christmas.

I received the set of patterns by Jenny and honestly have had a difficult time choosing which one is my favourite project. Jenny’s fabric selections are contemporary and encourage the sewist to be be a little more adventurous with their fabric choices too. The mint greens are fresh and I plan on using non-traditional colours in my Christmas decorating this year.

I do love Jenny’s table runner (below) with the sweet stitched birds on either end. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Don’t you think that the applique sections just “pop”?

The full set of Holly Bird Designs is available in Jenny’s Craftsy store… along with all of her other designs. Jenny has plenty of patterns on offer, so be sure to add her store to your Craftsy favourites.
