I usually "wing it". A tip for this cake, even less of the vanilla cake (you do not need much) and the cake pops will be more in the center and not rise :0) hugs

Looks amazing! And no, no practice cakes here because I either bake something I know I can do, like chocolate cake, or I *whispering* buy it from the shop. Lo!!
