Brauer Paw Paw Ointment {Giveaway}

*** GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED ***

The winner is:

I’m not a beauty blogger. I stick to what I know – which is, my kids, my family, my crafting and living in suburbia.

But as a mummy blogger, I often receive products to sample and review. I don’t blog about everything I get. There is way too much and I’d feel like one giant ad. That is not what my blog is about.

But in saying this, sometimes I do receive products which I try out and really, REALLY like… and more importantly, want to share with my readers.

One such product is the (new to me) Brauer Paw Paw ointment. I first came across this product at a Blogger Brunch I attended a few weeks ago.

Brauer had a stand at the brunch, with their paw paw products… right beside the most delicious looking fresh paw paws. I was intrigued.

This is a picture I took on the day, with my phone. Yummy, yes?

Paw Paw

I went over and had a chat to the lady at the stand and learnt more than I ever thought I would, about the goodness of paw paw.

Sure, when my kids were babies, I was told that paw paw was THE cream to use on their bottoms for nappy rash or eczema. We were lucky. The kids didn’t really suffer from any skin allergies so I didn’t really worry about it.

Well, now that she is 4, Miss Amelia has developed dry (and sometimes flaky) skin behind her ears. We’ve tried dermaid which helps it pass. But dermaid isn’t for prolonged use – a week max – so it’s an on again, off again condition.

Okay, now back to the paw paw…

I was told by the rep, that you can use this ointment on any skin conditions including insect bites and sunburn. And because it’s all natural, you can use it whenever you want, for however long you want.

So I tried it on Amelia’s ears.

After a day of use I noticed a difference. Seriously.

It is amazing stuff and it worked for us.

paw-paw-range

- It’s all natural.
- Rich in PawPaw: more than double the PawPaw content of the leading brand.
- Free of petrochemicals.
- Enriched with the skin-nourishing natural goodness of Shea Butter, Honey,

The ointment in tube and tub has a light, natural tropical scent and the lip butter has a splash more lip-smacking natural fruitiness. Yum!
- Moisturises and protects dry, cracked skin.
- Nourishes and soothes.
- Pure and gentle enough for even the youngest skin.

My eldest has Eczema & after a few years without it, it has come back. I would love to give this a try as I do not like to give her steroid creams. My youngest also suffers from very dry lips in the winter & they often crack & bleed. Fingers crossed that I can win this fabulous pack for them! xx

I'd use it on Isaac's eczema. Pawpaw is also so good for healing, that I expect I'd be using it on all of my kids bumps and bruises!

My daughter has a new baby, and this would be great for his little bottom. My daughter can also use it on the eczema she occasionally gets on her face. I would love to try this brand to compare it with the other pawpaw ointment we have used in the past.

Firstly miss 10 has come home from holidays with an infestation of headlice, I"ve just used my last tub of paw paw cream up on treating the sores on her head, and smothering every hair follicle in it. We use Paw Paw cream for everything: sores, chapped lips, rashes, helping remove face paint, the lists are endless

I'm the one with dry skin, so it would be wonderful to try such a lovely product. The grandkids could benefit from their grandma having said wonderful products with dry skin behind ears to nappy rash and teething.

I have not heard of paw paw products but I'm thinking these would be very helpful in my house. I'd keep the lip balm by my sewing machine as when I'm free motion quilting I keep licking my lips and get sore lips if I don't keep putting balm on! I also have a dry spot on my top lip that is driving me nuts and I'm thinking this might be just the product to send it on its way! Thanks for the opportunity!

So many things to use it on. Sounds weird but I use Paw Paw on one of my dogs who gets itchy patches. It helps keep the skin from going leathery. Would love to try this one out. And for me - well so many uses. I have dry hands, dermatitis and just love it as lip balm. Thanks for the opportunity to win

As my hubby is diabetic any rashes, cuts or scrapes need to be dealt with swiftly before they escalate. Paw Paw creams are great for getting on top of skin problems so they clear up quickly.

My daughter is struggling with her teeth at the moment. We've had 6 teeth come through in as many weeks, with sleepless nights, nappy rash and all the rest that comes with it. This pack would help us fight the battle on a number of fronts!

Those odd little dry spots my son gets next to his mouth, and the neverending scratches and bites he seems to be covered with. Insects find him particularly attractive to nibble on.

Miss 2 suffers from dry skin behind her ears.

Yes, I can think of endless uses for Paw Paw at our home!

My daughter has really dry skin at the moment would love to give the paw paw a try to see if it clears it up :-)

Lauralai said...

My daughters get large welts due to constant mosquito bites, but don't like me to put any cream on them. I think they would like the Pawpaw cream though, because it has a mild smell, pretty packaging, and doesn't seem like typical "ointment"

Salley said...

My 17 year old should have some paw paw... she recently "did" her knee and is having it taped by a Physio every 2 days. Unfortunately her skin is breaking down as she is allergic to the tape after 4 weeks. Its awful seeing a big girl cry. The physio tries his best. Thanks for the chance of a giveaway..someone will be thrilled to win!

I would love this; our almost 3yo has severe eczema and will for his entire life due to a severe egg allergy (er.... egg is everywhere!). I'm sick of using the steroid ointments the allergists prescribe - I'm sure long term use is not great for them.
Would also be great for our Miss 8mo (buddha) who has 5 chins and gets sweat rash under there.

Ally Lee said...

Will be using this as a winter chap stick for my lips. I love Brauer Paw Paw Ointment!

Carol Isaacs said...

As a sufferer of vascular dermatitis on both legs which manifests in very red itchy patches I have been advised to use paw paw creme and as this contains more paw paw than the most popular brand it would be perfect for me.

Dabsey said...

I would use it on chafed skin from exercising in the heat.

Cyndie @ Mademoiselle Slimalicious said...

My hands and lips suffer a lot in winter time due to the cold weather and wind. Paw Paw ointment will help protect my delicate skin, leaving it naturally moisturised!

Abby said...

I would use it on a recurring abscess, no other treatments have worked in the long-term so this is definitely worth a try

wundergurl said...

Something for the whole family, be great for my husbands feet/heels, my Miss 6 constant mozzie bites, Miss 10s chapped lips and me? Dry skin, particularly my hands. Thanks

@Lauralai - I feel you my Miss is the same they gets so large and swollen, I find cold cloth helps with the swelling and itchiness. maybe a placebo but i'l take it :o)

merryl said...

I would use the Paw Paw ointment for everything! It soothes our dermatitis, our mozzie bites, our scrapes and our dry skin.

Toni Crawford said...

This product would take the place of all the cortisone creams I have drifting around the house. One ointment for a multitude of uses, eczema, skinned knees, very importantly dry chapped lips(forever a sufferer of this). It would be my first aid box in one complete product.
