Sunday Afternoon Sewing

Hand sewing binding onto my quilt while watching a Disney movie with my kids. Is there a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? How was your weekend?

  2. Sounds like a nice afternoon. I have managed to sew together the rest of the half square triangles for the cream and blue quilt. We did attempt a picnic but it rained so we ended up back at home ;(

  3. I love the zig-zag along the binding!
This is Sunday morning here, so I'm off to church. The weekend is not over yet for us! Tomorrow is a holiday, also, so this is a long weekend. Love those!

  6. Yep, sounds like a nice afternoon. I plan on cleaning my basement, and then doing some stitching. Yours sounds much nicer!

  7. Love your new banner, just hexie flowers. Today was a hoot. A screening of Bridesmaids, followed by lunch & champagne as a fund raiser for Cerebal Palsy. That movie has some of the funniest lines I have heard in a long time. Tracee xx

  8. I love binding a quilt ... it means the project is all but completed and my mind can busy itself on what to do next.
What other way to spend a weekend?! I am making 2nd son a quilt, top complete, and a matching cushion finished!
