If anyone is interested, the pattern is by Mollie of Wild Olive. I turned mine into a little mini which I've finished binding and is hanging on my wall.
I've also been working on a large quilt which will eventually live on my little lady's bed.
She enjoyed helping lay out the blocks and make sure no centre panels were too close to each other.
I managed to sew all of the blocks together today, and quilt it. The stitch regulator on the sewing machine which is attached to my quilt frame, was playing up. For a while there, I thought it wouldn't get finished but FlyBoy played around with it and got it working. Yay for a handy husband.
Love the embroidery and it's a great message to be reminded of while working. Loving your little lady's quilt - she's got great fabric taste. What machine do you use on your frame. I have a happy jack frame waiting to be set up and I can't work out what machine to put on it... was thinking a Janome 1600P...
ReplyDeleteYes, that's the machine I have too. It's strong and sturdy and does the job. One day, I'd love a long arm machine with lots of throat space. I may need to win lotto first though :)
