Embellish Your Home - Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I posted a photo of a project using the beautiful ‘Tea Garden’ range of fabric by Dena Fishbein. Click HERE if you’d like to see the blog post and refresh your memory. The project is is currently waiting for the spring fair madness to be over, so that I can play with and finish it.

Dena designs for Free Spirit fabrics and her lines are so bright, fresh and utterly happy. If you’d like to see some fabric sweetness, pop on over to the Free Spirit site and look at her designer profile HERE.

Yesterday, I was wandering through a local book store and came across one of Dena Fishbein’s books entitled “Embellish Your Home” and I quickly fell for all of the prettiness inside. I just had to have it! Had to!

Embelish your Home

  1. Looks like a beautiful book. I'm working on making my sewing room a pretty room to be in, instead of the basement junk room. The most exciting thing coming up in my life is a job interview!

  18. I need to start a tablerunner for my sister's birthday in Nov. She was here this summer and piled up a few of my fabrics that she liked, so I'm thinking of a keyhole pattern..she is sort of contemperary in her tastes. After that,it is start on Christmas things...a selvage purse for DIL; journal covers for grandkids; a tree skirt for other DIL...the list is almost endless! :)
I wish I had a better eye for seeing what my home needs to make it wonderful, so I rely on other people's ideas to get me going. I'd love to see that book!
