Fresh and Fruity

I've finally finished my 'Fresh and Fruity' quilt. I decided to change the name from Cherry Ripe to Fresh and Fruity because it can be made with any fabric, rather than just cherries (though I love cherry fabrics).

I decided on a red/pink fabric for the binding called 'Sent with Love' by Deb Strain for Moda.

I love how it's worked out.

I've also had a go at pattern writing. I'm not sure how good it is, but it's my first and I think I have all of the instructions spelt out in an easy to read manner. Hubby read through it and seemed to understand even though he has no knowledge of quilting, so that's a good sign :-)
I've added it to my Etsy store.

On another exciting note, I've sold my first quilt which is VERY exciting. It's the Jaffa Quilt and I hope it goes to a lovely home.

Time for Project Runway. I lurve this show xo
