FNwF - September

I spent my Friday Night with Friends, crocheting. I had every intention of getting into the sewing room, but I sat down after dinner and didn't move too far after that. It was such a lovely (almost balmy) evening, listening to the rain.

The kids wanted to watch a film so we watched the next one in our series of the Marvel Universe films which was Ironman 3. Each week, we're watching a marvel film - in order. Honestly, I have lost track about the storylines and how they're all linked, but I do have to admit I enjoyed the Thor film... or maybe it had something to do with Chris Hemsworth. Hah!

My great big scrappy crochet blanket is coming along so nicely and I'm really enjoying putting random yarns together to make this happy blanket.

My yarn delivery for Wool Warehouse also arrived during the week, so I spent a little time putting together my granny square rug too. I love how the cream yarn is bringing it all together nicely.

My baby girl, who is not a baby any more, has her birthday on Monday - but celebrations have started early. I'm off to the grocery store to buy supplies for the family gathering this weekend. We're baking some caramel mud cupcakes for the family party and then I'll probably make her something small for her actual birthday on Monday. It's gonna be a sweet weekend.
