School holidays are here! Big YAY from me! I love school holidays. Some parents loathe the thought, but not me. I love, love, love them! I love having the kids at home to talk with and generally just hang out with. They're growing up so fast. They have the most awesome and unique personalities and I'm amazed that it was only a few short years ago that I was struggling with babyhood. These days, it feels like I'm standing still yet time is just flying by and I want to make the most of my time with my babies.

For us, school holidays means no early morning wake-ups to a blaring alarm clock. No after school sports or activities. No need to run on a schedule and watching the clock all day.
After busy days filled with playdates, outings and doing the things we don't get to do during the school term, the evenings are perfect for family movies. I've been slowly introducing the kids to films which I loved to as a child. Some they love. Some they roll their eyes at. It's all fun especially as I get to re-watch some of my favourites.
