My Creative Space

#mycreativespace
I’ve been absolutely inspired by my 52 week scrap challenge and have been pinning fantastic scrappy ideas, like a woman possessed! As well as pinning ideas, I’ve been creating projects to help me (and you) use up leftover fabrics.

I’d love to show you some of these scrappy delights, right now, but I’m going to control myself and keep the challenge on track. Look out for the latest scrappy challenge on Monday morning (bright and early).

Other than scrap projects, I’ve also been working on my Flutter By Quilt. I’ve made some very bright Dresden Plate blocks to incorporate into the quilt.

I think I like the direction in which it’s heading. Once I have the top all together, I’ll share it. For now though, I’m going to go and make some bias tape in my swanky new Simplicity Bias Tape maker :) It’s the first I’m using it, so I dare-say I will need to read the instruction book first.

My daughter, who is forever drawing new pictures, left this one for me, on my sewing table. Can you tell that she is a little bit in love with Minions from Despicable Me?

I absolutely love (and try encourage as much as possible) her creativity.

Have you bought any new gadgets for your sewing room lately?
