Eating

Soft boiled eggs with buttery toast soldiers.

Sam discovered some old egg cups in the cupboard, so we put them to use. How do you like your eggs? Or should I be asking, do you like eggs? Amelia tells me that she doesn’t like eggs… unless they’re in a cake.

Reading

I don’t think I’ve read any more of my book since last week. I have been looking at some fun scrappy bookmarks on Pinterest. Does that count?

Playing

My Simplicity Bias Maker has been one of my play things this week. I was in Spotlight the other day and found that all Simplicity machines and accessories were on sale, so I bought the 1/2” and 3/4” tips for only $6.99.

Family

The kids are heading over to stay with my parents this weekend, while FlyBoy and I have a weekend away. We’re going to see P!nk at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and spend a couple of days being tourists around Sydney. Madame Tussauds, Sydney Tower, Darling Harbour… no doubt I will miss the kids like crazy and will call my mother numerous times to make sure they’re behaving… and hoping that they’re missing me, just a little bit.

Sewing

Not much sewing to report. I’m putting Elvira the Elf together and will show her to you soon.
