Detour To Bondi

Good Morning from Darling Harbour in Sydney.

After dropping the kids off at school yesterday morning and delivering their weekend bag to my parents house, FlyBoy and I headed up the freeway for our weekend away.

It was early, so we decided to change our direction a little bit and head to Bondi to visit the new Pottery Barn, West Elm and Williams Sonoma stores.

I love these stores, but had never actually been to one (only online) so as we were kid free, we made the most of it.

Honestly, if I had just recently won the lottery, I would have bought one of everything.

West Elm had lovely furniture, homewares and funky decor items.

We then made our way next door to Pottery Barn and I was in love. With the new house so close to completion, I was just imagining all of this loveliness in my new home.

I especially loved this hall table and have the perfect space for it...

Finally we made it to Williams Sonoma - if you love to cook and bake, you will adore this store.

I was like a child in a candy store.

I loved that enormous wooden chopping/serving board, but didn't have the spare few hundred $$$ to buy it.

It's a good thing FlyBoy loves woodworking. I've placed my order in with him :)

Today, we will be tourists and will go up to the top of Sydney tower. I haven't been there since I was at a school excursion ... about 20 years ago!
