It’s the second month of the Modern Block Quilt A Long over at And Sew We Craft. This month, is Spool Block month.
This is my Spool block. The chevron is by Michael Miller and the spotty fabric on the top and bottom of the reel is a new fabric from Spotlight. I chose the chevron fabric to give the illusion of movement.
It was a very simple block to put together and the instructions are clear and concise.

ReplyDeleteI love chevrons, and this was a great block to show them off. I'm running behind this month, but I've got my spool thread cut out. I'm determined to start sewing the blocks tonight (I plan to make a few).
