My Creative Space

I’ve been playing with a couple of things this week, though life has a habit of getting in the way of sewing time. Know what I mean?

Here is a sneak peek of something I’m working on, with the new ‘A Stitch in Color’ range of fabric by Malka Dubrawsky.

Rather than the meandering style of quilting I normally use, I decided to go with these swirls. They’re not perfect, but so much fun to do. I just need more practise. Practise, practise, practise!

I’m also stitching like a crazy person, trying to finish my ‘Tis the Season’ quilt - by the end of October.

TTS 1

I only have a block and a half to finish and then I can put the quilt together.

I think I love this block the most. Not sure if it’s the partridge, or the pears in the tree, but I do like it and think that it will have a central place on the quilt.

TTS 2

With any luck, I’ll post about it – finished – in my Creative Space post next week.

Have you been inspired and creative lately? Have you started your Christmas sewing yet?

What is happening in your creative space?
