FNSI + SMSI

Friday night sew in + Saturday morning sew in = 1 quilt FMQed + a very sore shoulder (I really must get a higher chair).

Now for the binding - black with white spot or grey with white spot?

Which do you think works best? I'd love your feedback.

I'm leaning towards the black...

  1. Lovely quilt. I definitely think the black will be a more distictive border. The grey tends to blend in too much.

  3. Both would look exceptionally good on your beautiful quilt although I do think grey dots are 'in' at the moment.

  4. I would go grey with sherbet pips, though I've spent half the day deciding whether to use white or ash background with my layer cake so maybe I'm not the best person to say. lol

  6. I don't think you can go wrong with either- kind of depends whether you are after 'bold' or 'subtle'?!?!? Look forward to seeing it finished!

  7. Lovely quilt. As for the border...spots of course. Black with white spots would look great.

  8. Grey goes with the sherbert pips but the black really is striking... oooh, tough call! I say 'flip a coin'!

  9. Gosh, usually I'm a bright, over the top, clashing fabric kinda girl but in this case I like the grey dots better. Either will look great!!
