Here's my easy peesy guide to breaking a machine needle.
Switch to a zig zag stitch.
Forget that you have your 1/4 quilting foot on from previous project.
Start to sew a SHAZAAAAM...
Broken needle.
See, told you it was easy.

You are so funny. I did that a couple weeks ago and the broken part came up and cut my face. I didnt know I would need safety goggles for sewing :)
