My week in review

Well we're finally back home from our holidays and life is getting back to normal. Playgroup, swimming lessons, pre-school etc... Hubby goes back to work tomorrow so holiday mode will definitely be over.

My sewing machine has gone in for a service, as it's been working hard, so I'm feeling lost and confused without it. I made a couple of table runners before I took it in so I'd have some hand binding to do while it's away.

Here is what I've been up to:

Here's the page in Australian Homespun magazine with my quilts and the prize I won :-)

Table Runner - "Love U" by Deb Strain for Moda / backing fabric is from Ikea

'Pinwheels' table topper

Latest blocks from the Homespun BOM - Life is a Celebration

I have a quilt I need to get started for my little Miss. She turns 3 in September and we're going to get her a "big girl bed". It has lot's of applique, so without my sewing machine, I've got something to go on with.

Happy sewing everyone xo

  1. Congratulations on being published. Your work is just lovely. I love the way you use a lot of white. I think I will start using it a lot more as well.
