I won! I won! I won!
I got home to find one of those lovely little cards in my letter box telling me that I had a parcel to pick up at the post office. Not expecting anything, whatever was there, was going to be good... and this is what I got...
A bundle of lovely fat quarters to drool and stare at ...
Lovely aren't they? I got this pack of loveliness from Australian Homespun Magazine. They're going to publish some pictures I sent to them, in the July 2010 issue.
Okay, exciting afternoon aside, here's what I've been working on this week. I'm making a coin quilt and I'm thinking of making it to give to hubby for his birthday on Tuesday. He's always complaining that the quilt he puts over his legs, which lives on the couch, is too small for him (it's my DD's quilt - and she's 2).
I'm using the a "Twice the bundle" pack from the Harlequin range of fabrics by RJR. Now my question is - are these fabrics too girly because they've got a few flowers?
Here is my assistant. He was sitting on the window sill behind the ironing board trying to get to a sunny spot.
Why to cats like to get involved with sewing?
Ciao for now xo

ReplyDeleteNice win. I don't think the fabric is too girl at all - Will you be adding sashing a blak one will definately make it very masculine.
