The Simple Woman's Daybook - Day 3

FOR TODAY 1 February 2010...

Outside my window...it's a beautiful morning with a cloudless sky

I am thinking...it's a much nicer day today than it was yesterday for my son's 4th birthday party at the park. So much rain which made it interesting to keep 12 kids entertained.

I am thankful for... quiet moments

I am wearing...shorts and a t-shirt

I am listening to... The kids playing in the other room with NickJr on in the background.

I am remembering...nothing really - just looking ahead

I am going... to my 'Creative Craft' class tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it as it's been a long 2 months since it ended for the Xmas/summer break.

I am currently reading...The 2nd book in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris.

I am hoping... to stick to my new diet this time

On my mind...  have to remember to label Sam's clothes and lunch box before prep starts on Wednesday. Also my sister is having a baby and is going for her scan today so may find out if it's a boy or girl which is very exciting.

Noticing that...I have a few more grey hairs this morning. I really need to book in a get that colour done sooner rather than later.

From the kitchen... I haven't decided what's for dinner yet. Maybe lamb chops.
Around the house... mess, mess and more mess. Why don't kids put away what they're playing with, before getting something new to play with.

One of my favorite things... rainy days when I don't have to be out anywhere

From my picture journal... there was a pretty little ladybird on my geranium, but she flew away before I took the picture

  3. The flowers make a pretty picture anyway. The photo would look lovely on a scrapped card. I also liked your windmill sunset one :).
