Meet Lloyd the Llama.
Choosing a softie was tricky. They’re all super cute and I did go back and forth between a couple of patterns before I finally decided to go with Lloyd the Llama.
This was my first time making a softie. The pattern along with the step by step guide (which is available online) were great and I was able to complete my llama without a problem.
I created Lloyd with a fun print from the Island Batik Lace & Grace range by Kathy Engle for Whirligig Designs, along with a coordinating foundation batik in tangerine.
This afternoon, I visited my sister and gifted Lloyd to her as she has been the team coach of a kids robotics team called the Donut Eating Llamas. Lloyd will be the new mascot for this years competition.
Visit the Island Batik Ambassadors this month to see which fun softies they created.
Thanks to Island Batik for this fun opportunity along with sponsors, Funky Friends Factory, Aurifil and Schmetz Needles.
