Easy Peasy Blanket - OMG April 2020

My hand sewing has been put on the back-burner for the time being and I have re-acquainted myself with my crochet hook and some lovely squishy yarn.

I'm working on the Easy Peasy Blanket which is made up of these big granny-type squares. All completed in DC the centre colour is 8 rounds followed by 3 and 3 of different colours.

There's a hashtag over on Instagram #EPBlanket with lots of lovely colourful blocks beginning to appear.

It's funny, looking back at my facebook memories this morning, this seems to be the time of year that I get back into yarny crafts.

This blanket (photo from 3 April 2017) is a family favourite and gets a lot of use in the cooler months. It was made up with 4 (I think?) of these rainbow yarn cakes and is great for snuggling with for afternoon naps.

This scarf is from my FB memories from 3 April 2016. It was one of my very first crochet projects.

Can you tell that I love bright rainbow colours?

This month, my OMG project will be to work on more of these #EPBlanket blocks. Check out what everyone else is planning to work on this April over at Elm Street Quilts.
