It's raining here. Some places get a lot of rain, but here in this part of the world, it doesn't rain often, so having a few straight days of rain is just glorious.
There is something quite enjoyable about sitting down all lovely and cozy, while slow sewing with the sound of the rain on the roof.
During the day, I working on a couple of projects and got them to a good stage so that I was ready to sit with my virtual crafty buddies and sew.

I stitched down binding for the 'Color it Red' blog hop (which is later this month) which means that I can't show you too much more just yet. I need to keep some surprises!
I also finished off another custom pyjama pillow order for a little girl for Dali. It's an unusual name, right? I guess that's why these custom name pillows make a great gift for people with unusual names - I know from experience how tricky it is to grow up with an unusual name. This order wasn't due until the end of the month, but I'm happy to have it finished and all ready for collection.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to read Australian blogs and hear about the rain that has come. I do hope all the areas that need it, get it. Good to hear a lot of the fires have been put out by it too. Your cushions are a great idea - simple but so effective. (I am guessing they have an enclosure to put PJs in? I had a cute cat one as a kid which I loved!
