Midnight At The Oasis Quilt {Progress}

My Midnight at the Oasis quilt is progressing nicely and I couldn't be happier with how it's coming along.

So far, I've only used scrap fabrics from my tub which makes me very happy. Happy to know that those little bits that I save, are being put to use.

I enjoyed making the little 3" churn dash blocks, but I must admit that after making 52 of them, I am looking forward to starting on some different blocks for the next pieced border.

My 'One Monthly Goal' (OMG) for August is complete... with over a week to spare. Nice! I'll have to start thinking about my goal for next month.

    1. Thanks Catherine. I've surprised myself and finished the next border. At this rate, I'm hoping that I might finish the quilt top for my September OMG.

    1. Thank you.
      It’s amazing the scraps that we quilters hoard. I saw a blog the other day where someone makes a quilt with her scraps every month. That’s the sort of dedication I wish I had, but sadly, I still have scraps from my first sewing projects, back 8 or 9 years ago.

    1. Thank you Linda. It's coming along so nicely and i'm glad to be using some scraps (though the level of the scrap basket never seems to get any lower).
