One Monthly Goal - May 2019

I'm joining Elm Street Quilts this month, in setting my sewing goal for the month of May... and then come back at the end of the month to share what I actually finished and whether my goal was achieved.

As we we'll be travelling this month, my goal is to create a fair few hexagon flowers with this tin full of hexagons which I prepared specifically for the journey. We'll have a lot of hours sitting at airports, sitting on planes, on tropical beaches and even sitting on a cruise ship!

And just in case I get bored of only working on EPP, I put together another scrappy Liberty of London panel to slowly stitch in a kantha style. I've fused pellon to the back so I don't have to worry about basting any batting. I'm taking a few spools of Aurifil 12wt thread (rather than my usual DMC perle 8) so hopefully it still looks as textured as my previous projects. I've linked them below.
