Stitched Christmas Baubles {Handmade Christmas}

Why decorate with store bought baubles, when you can create your own?

My Stitched Christmas Baubles pattern will be in the latest issue of Handmade magazine. These were such fun to create and they’re really easy to personalise and tweak to suit your decor and taste.

Stitched Baubles Published

As it’s probably quite difficult to buy this magazine internationally (especially in time for Christmas decorating), I have uploaded my original pattern to my Craftsy store.

Stitched Bauble Silver

The baubles are stitched with a simple back stitch along with a few French knots. If you have some beads or sequins, they’ll look even more lovely embellished.

I’m going to make a few more of these before we put our tree up on 1 December.

When do you put your tree up and begin decorating for Christmas?

  1. Gorgeous. Would look great in a hoop too. My daughters birthday is the 3rd Of December so I used to wait until after then but now she is older I usually put it up on the 1st. I might sneak it up a little early this year!

  2. Congratulations! And you are such a sweetheart to put this into craftsy. It is really hard to get these magazines here in Switzerland and postage is just so expensive! So thank you for this lovely pattern. I might just hop over and make some this year!
