My Sew Seasonal Christmas Wall Hanging is now finished. Big sigh of relief that it’s hanging, with 4 days to spare.
I started this mini quilt for the Sew Seasonal Blog Hop.
The stitcheries are from a pattern by Sally Giblin called Friends for Christmas which was was published in Homespun Magazine in 2011.
I love having little stitcheries on the go, which is why I stitched up these patterns, twice!
Some people like paper piecing or crochet, to have at the ready, but I like redwork. Or hand-quilting. Either one keeps me happy.
I’ve quilted this mini wall quilt with black Perle 8 cotton. The main reason I used black is because it was, there. My rainbow case of Perle 8 cottons seems to have been packed away into storage, so I was lucky that I had this black one in my hand sewing tin.
Many, many little black stitches. They quiet the mind and make me smile.
