New arrivals

New Moda pre-cuts have been listed in my little store – Fabric Buzz.

Hoopla is back. This is one of my all-time favourite lines.

It’s bright, happy and most importantly, it makes me smile. Are you smiling too?

Charm packs are currently on sale, for only $10 (+ shipping).

I also have more Domestic Bliss by Liz Scott available. More charm packs are in stock as well as layer cakes. This range is hugely popular (and so it should be - it’s BEAUTIFUL).

I’m curious - thinking about pre-cut fabrics, what do you normally like to buy?

Charm Packs, Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes, F8 Bundles or FQ Bundles?

  1. I like Layer Cakes as it's like 4 charm packs, but for less money - also the larger squares are more usefull. I LOVE Scrap Bags the best - though I will only buy one if I know which line of fabric is inside it. I would like to buy bags of scraps - as I have serious scrap envy going on at the moment.

  2. I love layer cakes and, for the right pattern jelly rolls. I do, however buy charm packs when they're available too as they are perfect for smaller items or scrappy-style patterns/designs ... LOL! I'm good for all!! ... Ultimately though, if I can afford it, and the range is available in it, I will go for a layer Cake or charm pack over a jelly.

  3. This year I am going to try to do more with Charm packs. I have a charm freindly book but plan on doubling the size on the ones I want to make. Blueberry Crumb will be the first one attacked for a quilt for my mum. I have also decided that charm packs are a great way to have a proper look at all the prints within a range for commiting bigger dollars

  5. I love to buy charm packs. They aren't as economical but more affordable if you know what I mean? I have collected some good charm square patterns and can't wait to get stuck into them. Happy Stitching. Susie
