The important part is you celebrate -- whenever it is - just celebrate. The kids will learn valuable lessons and you'll still have your memories.

I made what I intended to make but I still feel the urge to play with holiday fabric so I'm continuing to work on a postage stamp quilt out of Christmas fabrics. More Christmas fabrics should arrive today.

Merry Christmas!Lisa Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12502089801927429325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-42132310151468907562013-12-23T23:36:16.313+11:002013-12-23T23:36:16.313+11:00as lond as you have fun then it does not matter wh...as lond as you have fun then it does not matter what DAY you celebrate x Having had me as a mother my kids are used to it being when we can x (I was a nurse for 40 years xx)Diane-crewehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13879911622708138774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-40383631799577366532013-12-23T22:06:16.295+11:002013-12-23T22:06:16.295+11:00So sorry to hear about Flyboy!! I've got most of the presents ready - a few more to make (lemon butter ;) ) - but I've certainly not made as many handmade gifts as I'd hoped to make through the year! Hoping to get in early and plan well in advance next year :) ... Wishing you a lovely day with your children on Wednesday!! Hugs!! xxLarissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06366510866652989740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-51535508348973756452013-12-23T17:12:26.157+11:002013-12-23T17:12:26.157+11:00Christmas is all but over for us. We went away the weekend before last to share Christmas with my sister, her children, her sons-in-law, hoer grand-daughter, our mum, and our Dd and her family. On Tuesday, DD and family arrived here. Mum arrived on Thursday. On Saturday, we had Christmas (ha mad turkey with salad followed by a choice of Christmas pudding or fruit salad) here with my brother and his family, mum, mum-in-law, Dd and family. Yesterday we took mum to Strathfield station to make the trip home, then went to WM's extended family (he's the eldest of six and his mum has seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren) get-together . For the first time in 36 years of marriage, WM are having Christmas on our own.

I know a little of the sadness you feel. wM worked shift work for many years and there were times when he slept through Christmas or worked during the day. We have never been separated at Christmas though. It's just an arbitrary date (the church took a pagan festival and turned it into the birth of Christ -- no sensible shepherds were watching flocks out in the snow!) so celebrate Christmas together when you can and celebrate it in style! Have a wonderful day.Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07760744006915967397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-77808721300019395232013-12-23T14:43:07.650+11:002013-12-23T14:43:07.650+11:00yes enjoy tonight and your hubby will be back befo...yes enjoy tonight and your hubby will be back before you know it,merry xmas to you and your family Anorina.xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-78434323539037595412013-12-23T12:07:12.460+11:002013-12-23T12:07:12.460+11:00Enjoy your night tonight, there are still beautifu...Enjoy your night tonight, there are still beautiful memories to be made together and in your new home. hugs to you all.Sharon - Lilabelle Lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17057515833969118954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-60072262529723530802013-12-23T11:41:26.308+11:002013-12-23T11:41:26.308+11:00What a pity Anorina.
