I hope the solids you need are restocked. Interestingly, I will be one of three panelists on an upcoming MQG Webinar on the topic "Temperature Quilts." Looking forward to sharing how to make one. As for book-reading... just as I don't set quiltmaking goals, I also don't set book-reading goals. For me, reading (audiobook) is entertainment while I'm doing less-fun things like vacuuming, folding clothes, and exercising. Though, I also listen to books while doing repetitive quiltmaking things like chain-piecing, and big stitch quilting. I'm happy for you to set goals and I hope you achieve them. Have fun!FlourishingPalmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13191140553844000267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-75156903671105119172021-01-16T09:34:24.879+11:002021-01-16T09:34:24.879+11:00It's never too late to start. We're able to access historical temperature reports through the bureau of meteorology website (BOM) here in Australia. Maybe you can find something similar? Wow, 90 is an excellent challenge. Getting them to read when they were little was so much easier than it is with teens. Every yea rI think about doing something temperature related but being in lockdown it is impossible to get to the shops to look at fabric and buy what is needed. I could have just jotted down all the temperatures for a later start but know that my heart wouldn't be in it if I started later. Maybe next year.
I always have a reading goal and record them all on Goodreads.com, this year I am aiming for 90 books. Good luck with your reading. I have set a challenge to read 100 books this year, two down lots to go!! Have just finished Obama, I can't remember the proper title, but it is about the 10 letters a day he read from people who had written to him. Was really interesting. Dymocks book shop recently put out a challenge sheet of books to read this year eg, book with a blue cover, Australian author, gives a different approach to reading.kiwikidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02267387525703999696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-53829255783621984462021-01-12T08:51:56.935+11:002021-01-12T08:51:56.935+11:00Your temperature quilt is looking absolutely stunn...Your temperature quilt is looking absolutely stunning...
HugzFionahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10497477051026460440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-43261517896996348982021-01-12T08:20:07.770+11:002021-01-12T08:20:07.770+11:00I never set a book goal but I read whenever I can....I never set a book goal but I read whenever I can.
