The weather is beautiful, the people are friendly and there are lots of Aussies there as it's only a 10hr flight. Faster than the drive between Syd to Melbourne :)Anorina @SameliasMumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09545554237461537096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-2982096640577285302019-08-27T15:10:12.338+10:002019-08-27T15:10:12.338+10:00Spam is HUGE in Hawaii and is plays a part in thei...Spam is HUGE in Hawaii and is plays a part in their cultural cuisine. I don’t think I ever had it before we ate it there, but I think it tastes a bit like devon.

As for the sewing son, I’ve tried to get him interested, but without much luck. Hubby likes to work with wood in his spare time, and I think Sam leans towards that hobby.Anorina @SameliasMumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09545554237461537096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-82730616612003441882019-08-27T13:19:17.836+10:002019-08-27T13:19:17.836+10:00Hi Anorina great post i love Sam's new pillow,...Hi Anorina great post i love Sam's new pillow, they look awesome on his bed and what a wonderful way to remember Hawaii ,hope i get to go there one day. It was introduced during the war years as ration pack food for soldiers I think.Ondreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15397162777493230125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-14343229953502517652019-08-27T02:28:26.603+10:002019-08-27T02:28:26.603+10:00Yep. Pillows look great. We are just pleased when sons like what we make for them, is SO true. I can relate.Dotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12555081712708645426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-26882528091643047172019-08-27T02:19:56.268+10:002019-08-27T02:19:56.268+10:00We have tinned Spam in the uk - usually sliced and...We have tinned Spam in the uk - usually sliced and either eaten cold or fried. I've not eaten it for years but it's still popular. It's name comes from 'spiced ham' but in the UK it was 'Special Processed American Meat' during WW2, when there was a meat shortage. I just googled and it was also made in the UK until about 1997 and now we import it from Denmark. Before I forget - I loved your cushions :)Lesley Gilberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391675183992422658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2603222641266424303.post-26965815953916900632019-08-26T23:36:41.686+10:002019-08-26T23:36:41.686+10:00SPAM?!?
