QUILTING: Scrappy Happy Rainbow Quilt - Blue

Welcome to Scrappy Happy Rainbow Quilt Tuesday. It's BLUE day!

#SHRQuilt

I decided to split the blue scrap pile and made this column with mainly royal and navy blue tones. The prints in this colour group are a crazy mix - Star Wars (possibly glow in the dark) combined with delicate Japanese Lawn. In the end though, it all works, which is the beauty of a scrappy happy quilt.

Next week, I'll move into the lighter blues, including aqua, teal and moving into turquoise. Besides pink, I think this would have to be my most favourite colour group.

How's your Scrappy Happy Rainbow Quilt project coming along?

What colour column are you up to?

    1. Thank you Chooky. Surprisingly I didn't have a huge amount of blue scraps in my tub.

    1. Thanks Susan. I don't seem to have a lot of blues in my stash either.
We might need to remedy that problem ;-)

    1. Thank you! Japanese lawn paired with glow in the dark star wars prints. I can't wait to see how this crazy quilt will look when it's all finished :)

  4. I see we both have the same love of scrappy rainbow blocks; thank you so much for your lovely comment about my quilt-in-progress! You make such beautiful scrappy blocks – would you like to join our ScrapHappy Day group, which posts something made from scraps on the 15th of each month?
