Teacher Appreciation Gifts

Here in Australia, the end of the calendar year also marks the end of the school year. With a week to go, everyone is really looking forward to the Christmas and summer break.

But before we finish up at school, we usually give the class teachers a gift. A token of our appreciation for all they've done for our kids throughout the year.

I of course, like to make the teacher gifts. I'm not quite finished, but I thought I'd share my progress with you.

I've created these pillows for the teachers, with individual 'teacherly' quotes. The pillow pattern is a freebie from Amy over at Nana Company. Amy has shared a Christmas version with seasonal words which is super cute.

I love this pattern and imagine that I'll create more in future. It's sweet and makes a lovely gift.

The last pillow is almost finished. I can't decide which teacher will get which pillow, so I'll just let the kids work it out.
