Do you have a LEGO fan in your midst? How about a Star Wars fan? Or, if you’re lucky like me, perhaps you have a child with an obsession with LEGO AND Star Wars. This is the ultimate experience for them and undoubtedly would win you some brownie points, if you took them along for the fun and games.

“This May the 4th weekend, Jedi and LEGO® fans alike are invited to come together and celebrate the
world of LEGO® Star WarsTM with a building event like no other.
US LEGO Master Builder, Dan Steininger, will land in Sydney to join Australia’s own LEGO Certified
Professional, Ryan McNaught, in an attempt to build the world’s largest model of Darth Vader™ from
LEGO bricks.

Taking place at Westfield Penrith from Saturday May 3rd to Sunday May 4th, Dan and Ryan will be calling on members of the public to help them build the huge model of Darth Vader. Set to scale at close to 4min height and using more than a quarter of a million LEGO bricks, the model will be one of the biggest ever seen in Australia.

But the fun doesn’t stop there, as fans will be invited to choose their side, like Anakin, as Dan and Ryan also build a giant model of the Jedi Grand Master himself, Yoda, made from LEGO bricks, Standing over 2m in height.

In addition, there will be exciting new sets from the extensive LEGO Star Wars range on display. Over the two days, there will also be Star Wars trivia and LEGO speed building challenges offering plenty of prizes for everyone.

  2. I agree with Jeneta. Looking forward to seeing photos. It is a little to far for us to visit Sydney (over 1000km).

  3. I like C-3PO. He's kind of like a nerdy robot that wants to appear more human but remains a nerdy robot!

Have a fantastic time and May the Fourth be with you :)
