Georgetown & New York

I've had this Georgetown Variation block on my mind this weekend.

It's printed up and stuck on my sewing room door... for inspiration. I got this block from EQ7.

You see, I posted this on my FB and IG pages yesterday, asking for suggestions on how to go ahead and make this block.

Some responses were serious giving great advice, and others were hilarious advising wine consumption.

I think perhaps a mix of EPP, foundation piecing and appliqué might be the way to go.

Until I decide how I'll tackle Georgetown, I'll play with New York.

How would you tackle Georgetown?

Or would you just stick with New York?

Sorry to my non-quilting friends - you probably have no idea what I'm talking about ...
