  8. We always go to a local street art fest that benefits a childrens' hospice. Then we get lunch somewhere along the street that doesn't look too crowded.

  11. As we live far from home, we will probably send some flowers to both my mum and my MIL. I, on the other hand, hope to be taken out for a nice meal ;).

  13. I'm taking my 95 year old mother to lunch. I hope. She recently broke her back and I don't know if she'll be able to get into my car. If not, I'll have lunch with her at her home. Then I hope to see my kids and grand and great grand kids sometime during the day.

  16. Lunch with a friend. I'm a bit sad about Mothers Day this year, no good reason mum passed away in 2009 so I've had a few without her already. Some days you just feel the need for your mum more than others!

  40. We will have a Mother's Day brunch at my in-laws. This year will be the most special Mother's Day for me as it's the first I'm able to spend with my mom in 17 years (she just sold her house finally and has moved by us to be closer to family/grandchildren). Also we have 2 expectant moms that have been trying for years to get pregnant. All of us in the same house celebrating Mother's Day! I couldn't ask for more;)

  41. This year is my first Mothers Day, and my husband is taking our daughter and I away for three nights to a quiet beachside town. It is autumn here, so it is getting cold but it will be lovely!

  55. Ugh, have yet to plan the dance of our celebrations and our two nearby moms...so lucky to have family close by, but I prefer the weekends when we see each other without pressure! Thank you for this fun giveaway. I love Malka's fabrics!

  153. Mothers day is rugby league at Penrith stadium from 4pm, main game 6.30pm kick off Penrith v Melbourne. As for the rest of the day that is for my family to organise but with mother in laws these days it could happen Saturday night or Monday night
