As you may know, we spent the last few weeks in Melbourne. We stayed with my husbands parents and the kids enjoyed being treated like royalty, spending hours swimming in the backyard pool or riding trams around Melbourne.
We had planned on coming home mid last week, but when I was invited along to the the Social Mums event, hosted by Kids Business, we decided to extend our stay. I love attending the Kids Business events as it’s always a brilliant event, plus I get to catch up with blogging friends and enjoy the brand experiences available on the day.
One of the brands at the Social Mums event, was Macro Organic Meats.
The event was held at Zinc in Federation Square. We arrived at 10:30 and queued at the door to have our ticket zapped, but could smell one of the most delicious, iconic and welcoming aromas coming from the building.
Sausages cooking on a barbeque. Oh yum. I took hubby along to the event and he quickly made a bee-line to the cooking meat.
We sampled the beef sausages and the lamb sausages. They were both so good and as Macro only use free range, grass-fed meat in their organic meat range, they tasted absolutely amazing. After doing a circuit of the other brands on display (more on them soon), we went back for seconds a little while later.
I love a good sale, so I just have to let you know that Macro Organic Meat is on special at Woolworths, just in time for Australia day. Pop into your local Woolworths store and check out their multi buys.
PLUS some fun news: Macro Organic have an amazing giveaway right now.

We learnt about this giveaway on the event day, so I went out and purchased my tray of sausages to enter.
