Giveaway Closed. Winner: Linda C
Last month, I received an email asking if we (well, the kids) would be interested in trying out some Disney games. Well of course we would, thank you very much.
We received and opened the package of Disney goodies with much excitement and squealing. We already owned a couple of the games, so they were gifted to friends and family at Christmas, but one in particular was new to us – Epic Mickey 2.
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions.
But for the first time, Mickey and Oswald will join forces as true partners – Mickey with his magical paint brush that wields paint and thinner, and Oswald with his powerful remote control that allows him to command electricity. If you’re oblivious (like me) to the forgotten Disney characters, meet them HERE. They’re kind of cool and all seem to have a grudge (which is completely understandable).
Sam played Epic Mickey 2 and quite enjoyed it – though in saying this, he hasn’t gotten very far into the game yet. With Christmas outings and then being away from home since the start of January, he’s itching to get back home and organise some play dates with his friends.
Personally, I like the fact that Epic Mickey 2 is designed for older kids. When they were younger, they watched and enjoyed Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Junior Foxtel channel, but now can continue to enjoy Mickey.
Epic Mickey 2 is available on the Wii, XBox 360 and the Playstation 3.
