Target Toy Sale {$50 voucher giveaway}

It’s the middle of the year. For many, this means it’s time to sort out paper work for tax returns.

For others, it means toy sale season! Yay!

The Target Toy Sale catalogue has arrived in our mailbox and the kids have gone through it… about a squillion times.

They’ve circled what they like. They’ve shown me the pictures. They’ve not only hinted (like husband and the Star Wars Lego), they’ve just come right out and told me! Okay, I get it. They’re excited! The Target Toy Sale for them, is like a Spotlight sale for me.

Amelia, my girly girl who only wears skirts, wants an interactive Dinosaur. Seriously?

Sam would REALLY like the great big Lego R2D2 on the front page. Ummmm… no mate. Maybe some of the smaller Star Wars Lego packs.

The big house move is happening in the next couple of months. We will sell our current house and move into a 2 bedroom townhouse, whilst our bigger house gets built. For the next year or so, the kids will have limited space – which means most of their toys will be packed away.

Target have sent me a voucher to attend the Target VIP night tomorrow – so I’ll be going with my friend Lisa from Life As We Know It. Funnily enough, we’ve been blogging for years, but didn’t know each other until my son and her daughter were in the same class last year. Small world, isn’t it?!?

Will you be going to the Target Toy Sale? Would you like to win a $50 Target voucher, to spend at the toy sale?

Enter in the rafflecopter below. This is my first time using rafflecopter, so I’m hoping it works okay. Open to Australian residents ONLY.

  1. Oh wow, what a great giveaway. I would love to buy myself a Barbie Dolls house as I was never allowed one as a little girl, but as I live in a house of boys I will probably have to settle for buying a pillow pet.

  2. Pillow Pets are awesome! Amelia has a unicorn one and Sam has the dog one. I was never allowed a Barbie house when I was growing up either :-(

  3. I'm off to the VIP night (but sadly without a voucher) and can't wait to get a head start on Christmas and late year birthdays!

  4. Cannot go to the VIP night but will be there Thursday

  5. For myself I'd buy some brain-training games for our Nintendo DS - it's never too late for mums to start stimulating their brain cells!
    Thanks for the giveaway :)

  6. Have fun! Say hi to Lisa for me! :)

  7. Awesome giveaway Anorina! I really want this one!

  8. Have fun Anorina! I'm looking at getting the wooden kitchen set-up for my daughter at the back of the catalogue. I only tend to get the bigger things on the toy sales as she's just had her birthday right before them, so I've already got extra toys, etc in the house. I figure if I can get the bigger items, on lay buy, then I can assess what she needs closer to Christmas. Thanks for the giveaway!!

  9. I would buy craft supplies as ours are running low with all the craft activity around here lately!
    Penny Spreitzer

  10. What would I buy for me? Well, there's really only one answer to that ... chocolate and more chocolate.

  11. It's been so long since I bought anything for myself - mmmmmmmmmmm maybe a new WII game

  12. I would love the Iphone/Ipod Tower Speaker on page 62. Perfect for blasting out my favourite tunes and dancing around the house!!

  13. I unselfishly :D thought of my children. But then I started thinking about me - I would buy lots of lalaloopsy and hide them from my two year old. I also love the new Lego friends (I know they are very girly but they are so much fun!!!)
I would also love some of the book sets and the DVD's.

  14. My little man has been asking for the Fireman Sam fire engine every time it comes on TV he's 2 1/2 so its very cute when he asks for it how can I say no :-)

  15. I would probably buy myself a WII

  16. I have avoided the toy sale's first few days to wait for the craziness to settle but looking forward to getting in soon

  17. I want the R2D2 Lego pack for myself. Hubby is a scifi nutter and this would go fantastically with our... um i mean his... collection :)
