Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows {Giveaway}

*** GIVEAWAY CLOSED ***
Winners: Tuffii and Laura

Robert Downey Jr is like a fine wine… he keeps gets better with age.

I’ve now seen Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows quite a few times, both at the cinema and at home, and love it. Action packed with some very captivating characters.

Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective,
Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his friend and colleague, Dr. Watson, in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.”

Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now.
There is a new criminal mastermind at large—Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris)— and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may give him an advantage over the renowned detective.

Now as a rash of murder and mayhem breaks out across the globe, only Holmes and Watson can stop the cunning Moriarty from completing his ominous plan and altering the course of history.

  1. What an excellent question!
Who will make a great Holmes?
Now I get to talk men
    Put them into my poem's

There's a lot to chose from
Do we go for their looks?
Or the way that they act
    And the movies they've booked

    There's the sexy Brad Pitt
    A fine actor indeed
    But the role of Sherlock
Does not suit his film need's

    Perhaps Mr Cage
With the first name of Nick
    Though a brilliant actor
    It's not quite his flick

So I would have to say
    And this may be inept
    But my choice surely goes
    To the fine Johnny Depp!

For he's a man of his craft
    Both handsome and skilled
Suit's a role that is dark
    He provide's quite a thrill!

  5. Me wants it. LOVE Robert Downey Jr. I think, while I agree about Johnny (drool worthy) that Colin Firth would be quite interesting. He has a very subtle way of one-upping everyone.
You know I already like you on facebook.

  8. I think Johnny Depp would make a great Sherlock Holmes too. I also think Hugh Grant could pull it off too with his eccentric, romantic take on acting.
