Spy Kids 4 {Review + Giveaway}

My kids have never watched any of the Spy Kids movies. Being that they’re 6 and 4, they’ve always been too young.

My son still loves cartoons (LOVES) but is now more accepting of films which aren’t animated. When we were asked to review the new Spy Kids 4 film, I was excited. Something that isn’t a cartoon, is a fantastic change.

The first time my kids watched it, all I heard was some serious giggling going on. Serious giggling. Okay, it was more like guffawing.

Not long after the film was finished, totally inspired by the film, I found them playing a game they’d made up in which they were the spy’s. Too cute!!

The next day was a Saturday and my little one asked if they could watch it again “because it’s sooooooooooooooooo funny mum”.

Since receiving the DVD, they’ve seen it at least 4 times. Okay, well maybe 6 times. They loved it. And I, love that they loved it.

It’s a fun film – great family viewing. Now, I must keep a look out for the first 3 films in the series.

This action packed franchise is back with the next generation of Spy Kids!

Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all: married to a famous spy-hunting television reporter (Joel McHale), with a new baby and intelligent twin step kids, Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook).

When maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) disrupts her domestic bliss--threatening to take over the planet--Marissa comes out of retirement as a top secret agent. With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action!

  2. I would love to have the ability to read minds - at will mind you, not without my control!
I loved the Spy Kids series when my daughter was young enough to watch. Your kids are the perfect age for these movies. Enjoy!

  3. I have wanted to be Wonder Woman since I was a little girl. I am afraid I would get dizzy now if I spun around like that to change.
I would like Samantha's nose twitch cause then the housework would be done and I could sew, sew, sew.
    Hugs :-)

  4. Definately telekinesis! That way I could clean my house while crafting!!!

  5. OK, not entering the giveaway, but have to say! There is nothing better than watching one of these movies with a giggler! My Son is a giggler and I can't help but smile when I watch movies with him!!!

  6. I'd be able to slow down time! My kids are growing TOO FAST!

  7. My kids have the first three Spy Kids movies and just love them. We have watched them many times. They haven't seen this one yet. I'd love to have super speed. Then I could get the housework done quickly and start to sew!

  8. I think teleportation would a good power. Instead of unpicking that mistake I could go back a few minutes to before I made it and sew it the way it should have been. I'd save heaps of time and fabric and not have the frustrations :).

  9. I would have time freeze! Freeze everything around me and I can keep sewing for as long as I want! And then start time again where it stopped!

  10. Adjusting the speed of time either super fast or super slow depending on the need!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. The super power I'd love to possess would be the power to make my husband notice when I've had a haircut!!! We have been together for almost 15 years and he has never once noticed!! I'm figuring I need super powers to get some attention and compliments!!!! :)
