I love bubbles!
When I was a little girl, I loved the soapy type of bubbles that you get from dishwashing washing liquid.
Now that I’m all grown up, I like the type of bubbles best served cold - in a tall wine glass.
I used to think that Bubbles were a special occasion drink, for weddings, birthdays and Christmas. I was wrong! Bubbles can be enjoyed anytime of the year but now that the warm weather is here, it is the perfect time.
Riccadonna Asti has always been one of my favourite sparkling wines, though after a glass or two it can be a little sweet.
Luckily for me, Riccadonna have released the new Allegra.
Riccadonna Allegra is semi-dry sparkling wine - fruity, crisp, fresh and ‘not so sweet’.
It’s a great drink to share with your girl friends on a warm evening, over a chat and a cheese plate.
It’s a great accompaniment to a long lunch.
It’s a great way to end a long, busy day.
Really, if you ask me, it’s perfect for any occasion.
Find out more about the new Riccadonna Allegra on their Facebook page. Find your local stockists or better yet, attend a tasting near you.
When is a perfect Allegra time for you?
Here’s a quick, yummy recipe from the Riccadonna website – invite your girlfriends over and try it this weekend with a bottle of Riccadonna Allegra.
Prosciutto and Rocket Bruschetta
Rub toasted or char-grilled slices of rustic Italian bread with a cut garlic clove and top with thin slices of prosciutto and baby rocket leaves, drizzle with a little extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with cracked black pepper to serve.
